Taraji P. Henson is taking serious advantage of her star power on EMPIRE. She will return this holiday season for the second annual music and variety special TARAJI’S WHITE HOT HOLIDAYS, which will air Thursday, December 8 at (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), on FOX.
Last year’s event was co-hosted by Henson and Terrence Howard. Insiders are saying that Howard won’t be any where near the Holiday spectacular this year. It seems like to much of Howard is not good for one’s health. Oh well, he can always be seen on the weekly drama EMPIRE.
The one-hour special is set to feature “oldie but goodies” holiday songs by celebrities. I am not surprised to learn that Pharrell Williams and Jussie Smollett as scheduled to perform as well as, Taye Diggs, Missy Elliott, Darryl McDaniels, Run-DMC, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg and TLC. The event also will feature cameo appearances by Tyler Perry and Terry Crews, among other surprise guests and performances.
Sounds like one big party scheduled to go down. And with Taraji – and all the energy – it should be interesting to watch.
