Release Date for “Kings” Starring Halley Berry & Daniel Craig

I can see so many other talented female actors playing the role of Millie (Halle Berry) in KINGS, a film set against the backdrop of the Rodney King trail in 1992.  Berry doesn’t have the presence of strength I believe should have been required to play the role.  In short, she looks like she is acting like she is “strong”.

The storyline goes…. KINGS is described as a drama about a foster family in South Central, set a few weeks before the city erupts in violence following the verdict of the Rodney King trial in 1992.

As the civil unrest in Los Angeles grows following the acquittal of four of the officers accused of beating Rodney King, Millie (Halle Berry) and Obie (Daniel Craig) must navigate the chaos that surrounds them in order to ensure her children’s safety.  KINGS focuses on the fragility of family relationships and touches on turmoil and tensions of the past, which sadly prove to be more relevant than ever in today’s social and political climate.

The first trailer has not been released. However, several promo photos are available for viewing.

The film will hit theaters on April 27, 2018.
