Chicago Film Festival Screening of “Widows” Flooded with Celebrity Guests

Yep, stars from the big-budget action movie, WIDOWS were all over the place.  It started with the red carpet celebration before everyone marched into the AMC River East to screen the film as part of the Chicago International Film Festival.

Academy Award-winner Viola Davis, who plays widow-turned-badass Veronica Rawlings, came first. Academy Award-winner Steve McQueen (12 Years a Slave), who directed and co-wrote the script with Gone Girl scribe Gillian Flynn, followed closely behind.

I would make a hefty bet on people loving this film. It’s a good one….
